Fox History
The following is a series of articles which have appeared in the Widnes Vikings match programme this season on the subject of club history.By and large the text here is as printed in the programme, though I have corrected any factual errors which I have since become aware of and also rectified a few of my typing mistakes.
In some instances I have subsequently done some further research which has unearthed quite a bit of new material on these subjects (particularly on the Maori games and Johnny Briggs) but this I will keep up my sleeve until such a time as I may have the opportunity to publish it in another format.
