Monday 4th October 1999 marked the ten-year anniversary of Widnes being crowned World Club Champions. On Wednesday 4th October 1989, Widnes out-gunned crack Australian outfit Canberra Raiders to claim the title as the best Rugby League team in the World. How times have changed.
